Biography

It's a bit of an understatement to say that Tessa Niles is a backing singer; it would probably be more accurate to say she is the backing singer. In a remarkable career she has worked with practically everybody in the business. It would be impossible to list all the acts she has worked with, as there are so many, in fact it would be simpler to list the acts she has never worked with, namely Motorhead and Renee & Renato. The reason for her success, explains Gary Numan, is the fact that she doesn't fuck it up very often.

Tessa is relishing the chance to participate in Survivor Outland. She is very competitive by nature, and is going all out to win simply because she feels she ought to be the one in the spotlight for once. She says "After years of carrying other singers, yet being overlooked myself when recording contracts are being handed out, it's only fair that I should get the chance to backstab my way to success. And if I get voted out early that's OK too, as I've got an Eric Clapton tour starting soon....".
