Very little is known about Keith Beavais. He worked as Gary Numan's guitarist in the early 1990s, but since then has disappeared without trace. Many people believe the reason for this is that he's a crappy guitar player who deserves anonymity, but the truth is even more tragic. Keith suffers from the same form of paranoia as the late Howard Hughes, and has spent most of the last decade sitting in his house with newspapers taped over the windows.
Survivor Outland is likely to be a particularly difficult experience for Keith. When he joined the Survivor cast and crew it was the first time he'd left his house for more than 9 years, except for the time in 1997 when he went down to the corner shop for some ciggies and a refill for his Bic. This is obviously going to make it hard for Keith to bond with the other members of his tribe, especially since his advanced state of paranoia has left him believing they're all trying to infect him with dangerous microbes. This is not at all true - they're hoping to stab him in the back instead. Keith is hoping to turn his reclusive nature into an asset, as his strategy is based on "flying under the radar". He hopes that no-one will even realise he's in the game until it's too late and he's the only one left standing.
